This policy explains what data MC Utils API collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
2.1 Email addresses
When you sign up on our coming soon page, we collect your email address via Resend Audiences. This is used solely to notify you when MC Utils API launches.
2.2 API usage data
When you use the API, we log request metadata including the endpoint called, response time, status code, and a hashed identifier. We do not log Minecraft usernames or UUIDs beyond what is necessary to serve the response.
2.3 Account data
If you create an account, we store your email address, hashed password (if applicable), and API key identifiers.
3. How we use your data
- To notify you about the MC Utils API launch and product updates (email list subscribers)
- To provide and improve the API service
- To enforce rate limits and detect abuse
- To generate aggregate, anonymised analytics (e.g. most-used endpoints)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-party services
We use the following sub-processors to deliver the Service:
- Railway — cloud hosting provider for the website, API servers, Redis cache, and object storage. All infrastructure runs on Railway. Railway Privacy Policy

Data stored in Railway Redis is ephemeral and not persisted beyond the cache TTL. Object storage is used exclusively for rendered skin assets.
5. Data retention
Email addresses on our waitlist are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. API request logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days before automatic deletion.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe from the waitlist)

7. Cookies
The MC Utils API marketing site does not use tracking cookies or analytics. No third-party scripts are loaded.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
