1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MC Utils API (the "Service"), operated by Axolite, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
MC Utils API provides a REST API for Minecraft-related data including skin rendering, UUID resolution, name history, and cape retrieval. The Service is provided "as is" during its pre-launch phase. Features, endpoints, and pricing are subject to change before and after the general release.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Exceed your plan's rate limits or attempt to circumvent them
- Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or build derivative datasets for redistribution
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the Mojang/Microsoft Terms of Service
- Resell or sublicense API access without prior written consent from Axolite
4. API keys and accounts
You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. You must not share your API key publicly or embed it in client-side code. Axolite reserves the right to revoke any API key that violates these terms without notice.
5. Rate limits and fair use
Each pricing tier includes a defined requests-per-minute (RPM) limit. Requests exceeding this limit will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. Sustained abuse of the Service beyond fair use, regardless of tier, may result in suspension.
6. Availability and uptime
We target 99.9% uptime on paid plans. Scheduled maintenance, force majeure events, and upstream dependencies (Mojang API, Railway platform) are excluded from this target. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability on the Free or Developer tiers.
7. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property related to MC Utils API and Axolite remain the property of Axolite. Minecraft and related names are trademarks of Mojang Studios / Microsoft Corporation. MC Utils API is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axolite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
